Kitchen Organization: Before and After
A kitchen analyzed with our organization tool. Below: the before photo, the prioritized plan we drafted (specific products, sized to the space, with reasoning), and a rendered preview of the same kitchen organized. Want one of these for your space? It takes a photo and 30 seconds.

Alright, this kitchen has good potential. You've got a decent amount of counter space and cabinets, which is a great start. However, right now, that counter space is working overtime, holding a lot of items that don't have a clear home. The cabinet under the sink is a classic hot spot — things are just stacked without a system. We need to define some zones and contain these items so everything is easier to access and put away.

Quick Wins
Try these before you buy anything.
- 1Load the dishwasher or hand wash the items in the drying rack to regain counter space.
- 2Sort the mail and put it in a temporary 'to-do' pile in another room or immediate discard/file.
- 3Relocate the Windex bottle from the counter to the cabinet under the sink.
Main counter workspace
High PriorityProblem. The main counter area to the right of the sink is holding mail, keys, pens, a cleaning spray bottle, and several tumblers. This eats into your prep space and makes it look visually cluttered, plus it's a magnet for more miscellaneous items.
Fix. All these items need a designated home away from the prime food prep and cooking zones. A counter caddy for mail and keys, and perhaps a small tray for the tumblers to keep them corralled if they're frequently used, otherwise, putting them in an upper cabinet. The cleaning spray can go under the sink.
Countertop Organizer
This organizer keeps all those small, frequently used items like keys, mail, and pens neatly contained on the counter without spreading out, preserving valuable food prep space.
Under-sink cabinet
High PriorityProblem. The cabinet under the sink is a jumble of food storage containers mixed with what looks like baking sheets and other kitchen items, all stacked directly on the shelf. This makes it hard to find a specific container and is inefficient use of the vertical space.
Fix. Utilize vertical space with a shelf organizer for baking sheets/lids and stackable bins for the food storage containers. Group similar items together so you can easily pull out a bin to find what you need.
Stackable Food Container Bins
These bins help sort and contain the loose food storage containers, making them individually accessible instead of requiring you to unstack every time you need one.
Counter adjacent to coffee maker
Worth FixingProblem. You have a few K-cups sitting loose next to the coffee maker. While it's just a few now, this often escalates and can make your coffee station look messy.
Fix. A small K-cup holder or drawer will contain these pods, keeping the area tidy and organized. If you have more K-cups stored elsewhere, this provides a small, accessible stock.
K-Cup Drawer Organizer
This drawer organizer neatly stores the K-cups right where they're used, preventing them from scattering and keeping the coffee station tidy.
Back of the stove
Worth FixingProblem. I see an assortment of spice jars and potentially oils just free-standing behind the stove, very close to the burners. This is a fire hazard, makes cleaning difficult, and clutters the cooking area.
Fix. Move these items off the stove. Use a tiered spice rack in an adjacent cabinet or a small caddy if you frequently use them to keep them together and easily accessible, but away from heat.
Tiered Spice Rack
This tiered spice rack places frequently used spices in an accessible, organized fashion within a cabinet, freeing up the stove area for cooking and safety.
